The brand was born from a simple question: How heavy are they?

After a heavy earring ripped through her ear during a 12+ hour day, Hannah began searching for vintage-inspired statement earrings light enough for her sensitive ears but couldn’t find what she was looking for. So, she started making them herself. Her handmade designs quickly drew attention, and before long, people were buying the earrings right off her ears.

Turns out, a lot of women wanted exactly what Hannah did: earrings with personality that didn’t leave their ears begging for a break. In 2026, that idea became Sideyed.

Meet the Founder

Long before Sideyed, there were 8-year-old Hannah Wray's sketches. Her designs have evolved since then, but her love of jewelry has only grown.

After years of collecting vintage and searching for statement earrings she could actually wear all day, Hannah decided to create them herself using vintage flea market finds.

Her background from hairdresser to Air Force linguist is anything but typical and neither is her approach to design. Every piece brings together her love of vintage, cultures, and a simple belief: statement earrings should feel as good as they look.
